The Oaks B&B
Welcome to The Oaks: A small, independently-run bed and breakfast set in the heart of the pretty market town of Swaffham, Norfolk. The 19th century property, which is a former workhouse infirmary, is surrounded by more than half an acre of beautifully maintained garden, giving a quiet and secluded feel. The Oaks only caters for one booking at a time, giving you a bespoke and personalised service during your stay.
Your Stay at The Oaks
The guest suite has a double bedroom with king-size bed, and a private bathroom directly opposite, with a large roll top bath, and a double shower. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Guests have the sole use of a large sitting and dining room with views over the garden. In warm weather, guests may choose to have breakfast in the garden, or spend a day sitting outside.
If you’re too tired to venture out in the evening, you can stay in with a take away, put your feet up and watch a film. We will heat or cook any prepared meals, if you wish to bring them, in the evening . The Oaks is very green. An air source heat pump, solar panels and battery storage, mean the house is carbon neutral for the majority of the year. We have private parking on-site and secure bike storage for cyclists. Free wifi is available throughout the entire site.
Breakfast is included within the price of every booking, comprised of of locally sourced products, freshly baked bread made in-house, and hand-squeezed orange juice.
